Prints / Playing for the Jersey
An occasional (very) series to produce a print for each of the senior Scottish football clubs - some since defunct. Based on collectable cigarette cards, each image featured an anecdotal tale from the clubs. These remarkable institutions have been in existence since the dawn of football, and have usually found a way to have an impact on the world game. The whole of life exists within Scottish football, and there is no better example of Caledonian Antisyzygy.
The following are a selection of the prints, all hand tinted linocuts.
